We couldn't be more excited to welcome back some of Newgrass' most prized and accomplished musicians, Punch Brothers! The Punch Brothers played at the Pisgah Brewing Outdoor Stage in its first season, so it's only fitting we start our next decade of brewing amazing beer and bringing amazing music to WNC with their return!

Punch Brothers are the acoustic quintet of mandolinist Chris Thile, guitaristChris Eldridge, bassist Paul Kowert, banjoist Noam Pikelny and violinistGabe Witcher. Says the Washington Post, �With enthusiasmand experimentation, Punch Brothers take bluegrass to its nextevolutionary stage, drawing equal inspiration from the brain and theheart.� Their latest album, the T Bone Burnett-produced, ThePhosphorescent Blues, was released in January 2015 on NonesuchRecords.
