Well I didn't know MM and I still think the JBT should have pulled more time and not in some county jail but in prison. I wonder how many people he rail roaded with his lies.

The “victim” wasn’t that elderly when this happened, probably early 50’s and nowhere did I say it was ok for a LEO to use excessive force but I this guy wasn’t an innocent victim like he’s being portrayed

I was in court for the whole case and he was convicted and the warden admitted to lying in this case and several others, if you have a problem with M go talk to him big boy

So that makes it ok for a Jack Booted Thug to beat him and then get a slap on the wrist. I bet if you were to strap on a gun and go beat the H#!! out of one of you elderly neighbors you would get one or more felony charges.

Actually the game warden was charged with felony assault but after hearing all the witnesses a jury only convicted of misdemeanor assault.
I wonder why the DA didn’t charge the “victim” with perjury after h got caught churching up the story of what happened, never mentioned to the investigating SBI agents that the game warden pointed a pistol at him but testified to that in court, I don’t think having a gun pointed at you is something a person would forget.

Of course the “victim” in this case was a real nice guy, like the time he shot into a guys vehicle and paid him off so he wouldn’t press charges or the time he was drunk and held a chicken catching crew at gun point because he was mad at the company he grew for, I think instead of pressing charges the company just cancelled his contract and never went back.

See thats the problem he was charged with Misd Assault do you really think that if you or I beat an old man bad enough that he needed to go to the Hospital that the charged would be a Misdemeanor

He was convicted of Misd Assault and it was a first offense so I was glad he got time at all, Figured it would be probation

I have always felt that if a cop breaks the law that his sentence should be twice what a non cop would get and lose their BLET cert for life.

I think it was for 5 years but doubt he will ever land another LE job, come to find out he was given the option to resign or be fired from the SHP before he went to work for the Wildlife. If the SHP had fired him he wouldn't have got the job to start with

30 days is that it if any of us had done that we would have gotten a lot more than 30 days what a joke. Please tell us that his BLET cert was revoke so he can't be a cop any more.
